How it works
1. Pick a league
Three coed 7v7 leagues this winter, each with one home field for the whole season.
- Saturdays at McCarren Park, 11 am to 3 pm (8 teams)
- Saturdays at Bushwick Inlet Park, 12 to 2 pm (4 teams)
- Sundays at Astoria Park, 11 am to 1 pm (4 teams)
2. Sign up
Everyone pays $120, with no fees added at checkout. Captain: start a team, enter its name and pay for yourself. Join a team: pick your captain's team name and pay. Free agent: we place you on a team, or name one you'd like to join.
3. Play
Every player accepts the waiver when they register. Teams need at least 10 paid players by Nov 29 and can carry up to 14. Teams that come up short are topped up with free agents.
The season
- Seven weeks, Dec 5 to Jan 31. No games Dec 26 to Jan 3.
- Weeks 1 to 6 are the regular season. Week 7 is playoffs: every team plays once more, seeded by the standings, and 1st plays 2nd for the title.
- One 50-minute game per team each week, with a ref at every game. Kickoff times rotate within your league's window.
- Pinnies for the season are included.
Rules
- 7v7 with rolling subs. Two 25-minute halves, running clock.
- Coed: at least 2 women on the field at all times. For each woman short, the team plays a player down.
- Rosters of 10 to 14. Only registered players who accepted the waiver can play.
- Molded cleats or turf shoes only. No metal studs.
- 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw.
- Weather calls go out by 9 am on game day. Rainouts are made up within the season.
- Zero tolerance for abuse of refs or opponents. One warning, then a season ban.
Concussions
- Any player who shows signs of a concussion (headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, blurred vision or memory trouble) comes off right away and sits out the rest of the day.
- They come back only with written clearance from a licensed physician.

Refunds
Every refund is cash back to your card, never a credit toward a future season.
- Full refund up to 14 days before the first game.
- Half refund up to the first game. No refunds after the season starts.
- If we cancel a league, can't place a free agent, or can't fill your team to 10, you get a full refund.
FAQ
Can I play without a team?
Yes. Sign up as a free agent and we'll place you on a team before the first game. If you already know a team you'd like to join, name it when you register.
Are the fields confirmed?
Fields are permitted through NYC Parks. If a slot changes, we move the league to the nearest comparable field and tell every captain the same day. If we can't place your league, you get a full refund.
Can my company sponsor a team?
Yes. Sponsoring covers the team's fee and puts your name on its pinnies.
